# Network Embassy Strategy

Date: 2026-05-23
Status: limited-preview product layer

## Product Thesis

ErgoCommunity should not become a passive list of blockchain logos. The stronger product is a cross-chain community layer where Ergo stays the home base and other L1 communities become useful rooms with sources, owners, missions and safety boundaries.

Positioning:

> Every community needs its own home. Every ecosystem needs good neighbors.

## What Ships In The Preview

- `Networks` navigation item and workspace.
- L1 embassy map with seeded rooms for major L1 communities.
- Filters for UTXO, PoW, privacy, interop, builders and scale.
- Daily homepage loop for returning visitors.
- Daily missions that can create local preview records.
- Embassy claims that create local preview records for operator review.
- Feed filter for network-related updates.
- Cross-chain mission formats for explainers, warm intros, release scouting and safety passes.

## Embassy Rules

Every network room needs:

- one human owner
- one reviewer
- one safety contact
- three useful asks
- source notes before public links
- no price claims, investment language or endorsement language

## Daily Retention Loop

The portal should give returning visitors one small useful action every day:

- answer one newcomer
- scout one neighbor signal
- turn one discussion into a task
- route one external update into Pulse
- create one neutral comparison
- verify one external link

## Launch Gate

The L1 layer can stay public in limited preview if:

- all external links remain behind source review
- embassy claims route to operator review
- cards use neutral, non-endorsement language
- every network has a clear safety caveat before wallet, bridge or DeFi links

Full launch requires real ambassador handles, reviewed official links and an agreed moderation SLA.
